Accompanying a nomad doctor in Mongolia | DW Documentary

She comes by horse or reindeer — Doctor Shurentsetseg is on call, ready at any time. Her mission is to keep nomads in native Mongolia healthy. Whether it’s a toothache, child’s illness, or any other health issue, Shurentsetseg Ganbold travels out to nomads to offer them medical assistance. Her husband supports her work by staying at home with their 3 young children, and occasionally drives her to her destination – if it’s possible.
