When Wind Supercharges a Wildfire Into Pure Chaos | The Weather Files 105

It spreads. It burns. It blows. Fire and wind are a deadly weather combination. California news reporter Rob Roth finds himself trapped and surrounded by a wildfire; in his own hometown, photojournalist Daniel Dreyfus is caught while photographing a fire, only to find himself a week later stuck in the area’s mudslide; an avid kayaking couple, Greg and Julie Welch, are trapped in a lake surrounded by a forest fire, almost choking to death on smoke searching for a safe area.
