The Last Nomads of Borneo
This documentary follows the Penan, one of the last nomadic hunter-gatherer peoples on Earth, in the rainforests of Sarawak on Borneo. It reveals a way of life intimately tied to the forest and now threatened by logging and development. Through the people themselves, the film captures both the richness of their culture and the pressures closing in. It is a moving portrait of the last nomads of Borneo.
