This documentary tells the story of Ali, a Syrian assigned female at birth and raised as a girl named Oula, who lived for years within his family's strict traditions. As revolution and upheaval reshaped his world, he confronts his identity and his past. Sensitive and intimate, it follows one person's search for the self hidden beneath the life expected of them.
