Is This Australia's Hardest Ultramarathon?
This documentary follows an attempt at one of Australia's most brutal ultramarathons, a punishing run covering hundreds of kilometres and thousands of metres of climbing from sunrise to sunrise. It captures the freezing temperatures, steep mountains and mental grind of trying to beat the sun across the finish. The film gets close to the physical and psychological cost of endurance at its extreme. A gripping watch for runners and anyone drawn to the limits of human stamina.
