Paris Opera Ballet
In 2019, Paris Opera Ballet returned to China after an entire 11 years since its last presence. As one of the oldest ballet companies in the world, Paris Opera Ballet plays a major role in the development of ballet. This time, it presented the classic Swan Lake and a selection of contemporary works at Shanghai Grand Theatre. From the dance move, details of the costume to stage setting, it all embodies the artistic traditions of Opéra national de Paris that have been passed down since 1669.
